Would this be helpful for the new "Jazzland" (because im not going to call it SFNO anymore) in the rebuilding process??? Would it be easier and cheaper to purchase and bring in rides from say the Hard Rock Park that no longer exists or would it be to build new coasters/rides???

Then you need the right talent. I want it to reopen, and my guess is the city does too. Fielkow is a relatively smart guy (a genius by NOLA city council standards) and knows that reopening a park is probably the best bet. So, why has he not jumped all over the Danny plan - most likely because there's no financial plan and no committed lenders. Don't beat me up, it's just a guess, but a relatively educated one.

For those of you who haven't heard the story, in the first few weeks of this year three teenagers have been killed due to using heroin and other hard drugs.

One of those unfortunate teenagers was 16-year old Madeline Adele Prevost, who was a junior at Lusher High School on Freret St. by Tulane University.
